There is another way for new players to earn gold, but you'll have to be very active if you want to achieve great success there, and minimum requirement level was level 15. The way is trading gold and currency using Monetary Market (MM), it is located under market -> monetary market. Below is the way of how it works:

The fundamental idea of doing such trading is to sell your gold for a certain currency, then reselling the currency into gold to earn profit. Keep in mind that you are the one that is putting up the offer for others to buy (by placing offers in market->monetary market->post new offers), and there are a few things that have to be taken into consideration before putting up an offer.

The first step is to compare the spread rate of the currencies. Try to use this website : http://erepublik-market.cz.cc/ -> currency to have a brief idea on the latest exchange rates, however it is not 100% accurate due to delays and some API problems in the game. The easiest way to see which one is most profitable is by choosing "spread" in the drop down menu of "select criteria".

What does "spread" means? It means how much percentage will you gain by selling gold for currency and reselling currency for gold. The higher the spread rate, the more you can earn. Example is as follow:

Lets say market has offer of 1 GOLD = 100 MYR, and 1 MYR = 0.011 GOLD for now. This means if you are the one that placed the offer of 1 GOLD = 100 MYR on market, other people will have to use 100 MYR to exchange for your 1 GOLD. After the trade is done, you put the offer of 1 MYR = 0.011 GOLD on market, other people will have to use 1.1 GOLD in order to buy all your 100 MYR offered.

( 100MYR x 0.011 = 1.1 GOLD )

How much have you earned in this transaction? (1.1 GOLD - 1 GOLD) / 1 GOLD = 10%. You have earned 0.1 GOLD or 10% in this trading. Continue to do this and you will earn more and more.

This is the basic of Monetary Market trading, next up will be factors affecting decision making.

In order to be able to see the real time exchange rate, you can buy 0.01 value of the currency you wanted to see using your gold, then refresh the page. Before putting up an offer, there are various things to consider in order to minimize the chances of making a loss.

1. Population of the country - Normally this would be the first thing I look before I put an offer up. Larger population indicates that more people should be using the currency, so the trading would be more active. The downside is normally such currency will be very stable and has low spread rate. Offers in market will be alot as well so it might take some time for you to complete selling currency for gold process.

2. Happenings within the country - The best way to have an idea on how and what is the country is doing / planning to do is by reading their newspaper. From there, we would know whether the country has active citizens, is ready to war, etc. Warring will normally shift the exchange rate because people needs the currency to buy more food/weapons to fight or gold to buy health kits. It would not be safe to trade the currency now because the rate will surely drop when the government of the country is trying to stabilize it again.

3. Stability of the currency - You can check how stable is the currency by looking at how many offeres are available at currency = gold section. Spain is one of the most stable ones in the eworld now because they have more than 20 pages of offer of 1 ESP = 0.03 GOLD. It is a safe one to invest in if you are willing to wait up to days to earn the profit.

A simpler way to earn your profit faster is by selling your currency to gold at a lower rate, but with profit. For example, let say ePakistan has exchange rates of 1 GOLD = 56.383 PKR and 1 PKR = 0.02 GOLD now, you will still earn some profit if you sell the PKR you got from this rate at 1 PKR = 0.019 (56.383 x 0.019 = 1.07 GOLD). You will earn less but you'll get your gold back alot faster. The downside of this is normally countries like this will have very unstable market, where it can rise and fall easily if an erich player/organization decides to come and buy everything offered since the values offered in the market is small.

Activity is very important because you are competing with the whole world to sell your gold, then sell the currencies you got from your gold. The faster you complete the transaction, the least risk you will have to bear.

Anyone is welcome to add anything that I missed. We could send these to new players that are interested in earning more gold so they know what they are doing

I've been doing this for a while.

It's a great way to make profit, but there's a ton of risk. Be careful!
